Ecco che inizia l'ennesima battaglia che faccio per ammazzare il tempo. L'avversario ha un team interessantemente fuori dagli standard ma ha anche un ranking molto alto che mi fa capire che usa dei set antimetagame per vincere. Inizierà con Landorus o Jirachi per infastidire il mio Rotom. Qui dico "ok, adesso interpreto ogni sua mossa".

Soltanto Substitute o un miss mi avrebbero impedito di ottenere un risultato così, ma la prima era improbabile perché si sarebbe aspettato Hydro Pump e la seconda per la statistica. Adesso potrei usare Hidden Power Fire per fargli un grande danno ma spaventarlo, lasciargli settare le Stealth Rock o le Spikes, ma comunque all'avversario rimarrebbe un potenziale threat in vita (per i miei Scizor e Landorus che son ben felici di usare U-Turn)...

E invece se ne va il suo primo Pokémon! Adesso ha Landorus in campo, ma non userà Hidden Power Ice perché sa che non terrò Landorus in campo. E non userà Earthquake per paura che io ce lo lasci e poi sia lui quello costretto ad andare di switchback. Cercherà in pratica la vita facile con U-Turn.

Vedo due motivi dietro quest'ingresso, e non quello di Jirachi: forse pensa che io abbia il set Swords Dance + Roost, e sicuramente il suo Jirachi ha Body Slam + Iron Head. Layer2: lui pensa che io penso che switcherà e quindi userò U-Turn, io leggo il suo layer1. Sulla carta sono in vantaggio, glielo faccio capire.

Ok fa abbastanza schifo come cosa, anche perché dopo due turni ha forfettato, ma è stato divertente spinnare e settare le Toxic Spikes davanti a Terrakion e Landorus, esattamente colpire Latios e - successivamente - finire Magnezone con Scald.

L'ho logorato per una trentina di turni dopo essere passato in svantaggio e ho giocato easy fino ad una layer 1 semplicissima che mi ha concesso la vittoria.

solo una domanda, perché nei turni Landorus VS Tentacruel il leggendario non ha MAI usato Earthquake? Per paura di Rotom, sempre?

solo una domanda, perché nei turni Landorus VS Tentacruel il leggendario non ha MAI usato Earthquake? Per paura di Rotom, sempre?

Perché giocava "sicuro", pensando "ok, il mio avversario farà solo layer 0 e non si metterà mai in pericolo". In una situazione simile sarebbe stato favorevole per lui mettere Rotom (il mio non ha molta Def ed è più lento sicuramente di Landorus), quindi di certo non lo faceva per paura.

Provaci tu ad esplodere con un Lickitung lockato contro un Dewgong con Protect basandoti solo sulla fortuna. Ovviamente gli ho fatto credere di essere lì a fare Wish (non a caso Cryogonal era a pochi HP), e che quindi Protect sarebbe stato un turno sprecato per lui. 

L'unico hax potrebbe essere stato alla fine, quando è missato il suo Seed Flare, ma nello stesso turno è missato prima anche il mio Stone Edge, quindi la cosa un po' si autocompensa.
