What are the prizes?
All participants receive a National Championships promo card and a commemorative pin, just for entering, while supplies last!
Prizes are awarded to the top 16 players in each age category. Our age categories are: 10 & Under, 11–14, and 15 and up.
The top 16 finishers in each of the three age categories receive the following prizes:
1st Place
A Pokémon TCG National Championships First Place Trophy
An invitation to the Pokémon TCG World Championships in 2006
A travel award for the winner (and parent or legal guardian for players under 18) to the 2006 World Championships*
A scholarship award worth $1,000*

In buona sostanza le variazioni sostanziali rispetto all'anno scorso sono:
Le borse di studio più alte ma solo per i primi due classificati
Gli inviti al mondiale solo per i primi due classificati
Premi in bustine raddoppiati rispetto allo scorso anno
Premiazioni fino al 16 classificato
Altro merchandise non meglio identificato
A mio personale avviso è una vera disdetta la riduzione degli inviti al mondiale anche se è vero che l'anno scorso sono andati persi, se non altro chi per sfortuna è arrivato nei primi 4 e voleva andare lo stesso pagandosi il viaggio aveva la certezza di partecipare al mondiale.
Stesso discorso vale per le borse di studio eliminate per il 3 e 4 posto.
Beh che dire... quest'anno sarà veramente dura per tutti....
