Ho deciso di costruire un team basato sul tempo, inserendo pokémon legati a questo tema. Innanzitutto ho scelto di non costruire un Weather team, per non cadere nella banalità e nella scontatezza (troppo cheap) e fare qualcosa di un pochino diverso (fuguriamoci un Dragon Spam - che sarebbe comunque rientrato nel tema portante). Devo dire che non è stato semplice, essendo abituato ad usare i miei fedelissimi Politoed, Ferrothorn e Latios. Ho inserito Pokémon (almeno per me) nuovi e devo dire che il risultato mi ha sorpreso piacevolmente.

Ho deciso di buildare il team su Breloom

, uno dei pokémon che mi piacciono maggiormente. A me ricorda molto un dinosauro misto ad un fungo, quindi rientra perfettamente nel tema del "tempo". Ho optato per la nuova versione DW, TechnicLoom, Pokémon davvero formidabile, potentissimo ma, ahimé, fragile. Va dunque supportato con delle buone difese: per iniziare ho inserito Heatran

Mai vista tanta potenza in un solo Pokémon. Set che spazza via qualunque cosa, tranne determinati avversari (Gengar, Skarmory, Celebi, Gliscor...). Per il resto è davvero incounterabile! Una volta eliminato il counter di turno è libero di sporare a destra e a sinistra, boostarsi e colpire con le 2 meravigliose STAB.

Set praticamente classico. Unica cosa, ho optato per Thunderbolt > Bug Buzz, per colpire almeno un pochino Heatran (a quello non calm fa qualcosina), Gyrados in revengekill e gli altri water.

Questo Pokémon spacca, niente da dire. Se non lo si colpisce in modo superefficace è difficile da buttar giù. In sintesi piazza le rocce, scouta con Protect (in particolare i soliti Genesect, Landorus, Thundurus, ScarfKion etc.) e phaza con Roar. Inoltre è il counter perfetto di Genesect e Volcarona che creano difficoltà a parecchia gente, lui escluso. Lava Plume > FThrower / Fire Blast causa burn rate.

Pokèmon fantastico! Ho optato per il set difensivo + Orb, supportata da Recover. Difende come pochi, nonostante le 7 debolezze totali (U-Turn non stabbatagli fa qualcosa come il 50%) ed è il counter perfetto di Terrakion. Non subisce più di tanto le sue STAB e lo può faintare con Giga Drain. Ho dato la Orb e qualche Evs in Sp.Atk. per permettere alla fatina di colpire duro. Essendo il mio team un pochino debole a Heatran, ho deciso di inserire Earth Power, visto che Breloom da solo non riesce a counterarlo.

Innanzitutto funge da spinner del team, visto che le Spikes potrebbero creare non pochi problemi. Mi permette inoltre di scoutare un bel po' grazie a Protect. Toxic per avvelenare avversari scomodi e stallare ulteriormente con Protect, Scald main STAB e per burnare a destra e a sinistra. E' la mia protezione principale contro i rain team, visto che resiste all'acqua ed è libero di attivare la sua trait.

Questa draghetta copre tutte le debolezze di Heatran, ma il suo compito è un altro: essendo di base spaventosamente bulky ho preferito aumentare solo gli HP, massimizzando la Speed per garantire un bello sweep. Dopo qualche CM (2 sono più che sufficienti) killa il mondo intero, nessuno (o quasi - *coff coff Heatran coff coff*) escluso. Ho preferito HP [fire] > Substitute, visto che non mi andava di essere bloccato dal primo Steel di turno.

Scizor
I set più utilizzati sono il CBander e il RoostSDancer. Per il primo ci sono Heatran, che gli blocca le main STAB (basta fare attenzione a Super Power) e Tentacruel, che invece lo walla completamente. Per l'altro set, sempre Heatran che non trova troppe difficoltà. In alternativa anche Celebi, che può entrare su BP o Super Power e OHKOarlo con l'HP fire.

Dragonite


Questo pucciosissimo dragone obeso crea problemi alla maggior parte dei Pokèmon. Heatran mi copre completamente dal set standard (senza EQ), cosa che mi permetta di phazarlo via in caso di difficoltà. Se dovesse avere EQ > ExtremeSpeed / Fire Punch e una danza all'attivo, mi faccio killare un pike e lo finisco in revengekill con Genesect.

Genesect


Quando nel team hai un pokèmon di nome Heatran, l'ultimo pokémon che devi temere e Genesect. Nel caso Heatran ci avesse lasciato già le penne, Tentacruel può fargli qualcosina e lasciar quindi finire il compito a Breloom e a Mach Punch.

Heatran


Heatran è un Pokèmon che può darmi qualche problema: il più delle volte devo fregarlo in predict. Celebi e Breloom sono i counter designati, ma anche Tentacruel gli fa un buon 40% a salire con Scald.

Jirachi



Anche Jirachi non crea troppi problemi. Ho un'ampia gamma di mosse a lui superefficaci (da Celebi a Heatran, fino a Latias) che gli rendono la vita non proprio semplice. Inoltre Heatran blocca tutta la sua coverage, motivo in più per non preoccuparmi più di troppo.

Gliscor



Gliscor, nella versione Sub+Protect è un Pokémon ostico per chiunque. Io però riesco a cavarmela, grazie a Celebi (Giga Drain gli fa un modesto 33%) e soprattutto a Latias. Immune alla STAB, Acrobatics e Ice Fang le fanno il solletico. Di solito basta qualche Dragon Pulse, supportato da CM per finirlo.

Breloom


Breloom è difficile da affrontare, sorattutto nella versione Poison Heal + Sub. Avendo però un Pokémon come Celebi, che si prende le Spore e le main STAB con semplicità posso stare abbastanza tranquillo e revengekillare con Latias / Genesect. Nel caso, mi faccio sporare qualcuno e poi lo sistemo con i pokémon già citati.

Salamence



Il set più comune è lo Scarf, che posso scoutare con Tentacruel e Heatran. In caso di mixed non-Scarf ho Genesect in revengekill o Latias.

Rotom-Wash



Come per tutti i possibili scarfer ho Protect. Di conseguenza Latias mi copre dalle sue STAB. Nel caso di set bulky, Breloom lo outspeeda e lo fainta senza problemi!

Gengar



Gengar qualche problema lo dà, visto che non ho nessuno che resiste contemporaneamente al tipo Spettro (Shadow Ball), al tipo Elettro (TBolt) e al tipo Lotta (Focus Blast). Ho però comunque Genesect e Latias (che condivide con Gengar la stessa base Speed) chee riesce a prendersi comunque una Shadow Ball, prima di killarlo con Dragon Pulse.

Terrakion


Anche qui (dove posso) scouto, nel dubbio vado di Celebi. Close combat gli fa il solletico! Idem per Tentacruel, che prende un modesto 40%. Aggiungerei (e non è poco) anche Breloom in revengekill.

Keldeo



Per il pony, ho Tentacruel, che gli blocca le STAB e l'eventuale HP [Ghost], che non gli fa nulla. Anche Latias non soffre le sue STAB e poi ci sono sempre Genesect e Breloom in revengekill.

Tornadus-Therian


Il piccione qualche grattacapo lo dà. Heatran però assorbe molto bene Hurricane. Tentacruel può toxicarlo e con Genesect revengekillo.

Stessa cosa per l'amico sopra, cambia solo il counter: fuori Heatran, dentro Latias. Inoltre posso contare anche su Celebi per assorbire Volt Switch e Focus Blast. Sempre Genesect in revengekill (se ha già usato una mossa non Elettro).

Anche lui qualche problemino lo dà, in particolare quello Scarf. Scouto quando posso, visto che non ho Pokèmon capaci di prendersi sia EQ che U-turn. Per l'altra versione (Sheer Force) ho Latias che resiste ad Earth Power e Genesect in Revengekill.

Mamoswine


Questo è il pokémon che più mi mette in difficoltà, in particolare il set con Icicle Crash. Non avendo pokémon resistenti a EQ e alle mosse Ghiaccio questo mammuth obeso mi crea parecchie difficoltà. L'unica arma che ho a disposizione è Genesect, che resiste alla sua priority (anche Celebi a piena vita erò ci mette del suo...può prendersi un EQ e un Icicle Crash e finirlo con Giga Drain - solo nel caso non ci siano le rocce).

Volcarona


Heatran, ho detto tutto! Gli blocca le STAB e phaza con Roar.
Weather Threat List...

Allora, premetterei che con i weather ho delle difficoltà. Loro hanno a disposizione dei vantaggi enormi, da cui spesso è difficile difendersi (penso in particolare a SandRushStoutland, ai BlizzardSpammers o agli abusatori di Rain). Il problema non lo si può levare, ma si può solamente CERCARE di arginare. Ho buildato un Non-weather per non cadere nella banalità e ho comunque di mezzi per potermi difendere da questi team.

Rain Team



I rain sono quelli che creano più problemi a tutti, non a caso dominano il metagame. In generale li affronto con Tentacruel, che attivando la trait e spammando Scald e Toxic diventa ancora più ostico. Tendenzialmente tendo a paralizzare gli sweeper avversari con Celebi (quanti che pensano di avere l'entrata sicura di Tornadus-T e Latios sulla cipolla), per poi lasciare a Breloom, a Latias e a Genesect l'onore del colpo di grazia. Rimangono comunque sempre molto ostici da affrontare anche se le sconfitte sono dovute più a miei errori, che alle falle del mio team.

Sand Team


Se da un lato la tempesta mi logora i Pokèmon (in particolare Breloom, visto che ha la Orb), i Sand li affronto abbastanza alla pari. Generalmente sono lenti, il che aiuta lo sweep di Breloom. Tyranitar, Hippowdon, Gastrodon, Jellicent & CO. vengono mangiati dal fungo, che mi permette anche di Sporare qualche Pokémon. Posso comunque contare su 2 steel, che mi offrono un notevole sostegno nell'affrontare questi team. L'unica "falla" che riconosco è l'assenza di un counter di ScarfLandorus (ho però Tentacruel e Heatran, su cui Landorus tende ad entrare, che possono scoutare con Protect), visto che non ho Pokèmon resistenti al Coleottero e alla Terra.

Sun Team



Nonstante la debolezza di 3 Pokémon al tipo Fuoco, posso contare su Heatran, che walla quasi tutti i membri del team avversario, dai vari Ninetales a Victini, da Venusaur a Victreebel. Devo però stare alle mosse Terra (Sawsbuck, Heatran etc.) e Latias e Celebi lo aiutano in modo palese. Anche qui va a situazioni, anche se le difficoltà maggiori le trovo con i Rain e (meno) i Sand.

Hail Team



Gli Hail sono quelli che creano meno difficoltà. La grandine alla lunga può essere logorante, ma solamente alla lunga. Sicuramente è il weather che mi crea meno problemi. Essendo spesso diversi i pokémon usati (tranne Aboma che affronto con Heatran, visto che gli blocca tutta la coverage - quello con EQ è rarissimo) è difficile dire come li si può affrontare. In generale, i Pokémon sono quelli usati anche in altri weather (Heatran, Tentacruel, Starmie...). Per il Blizzard Spammer per eccellenza (Kyurem) ho Latias che lo outspeeda e lo OHKOa con il supporto delle rocce e con qualche danno inflitto in precedenza. Inoltre Breloom lo OHKOa facilmente grazie alla sua priority.

Team postasto in fretta e furia, una buona analisi preventiva della propria presentazione avrebbe evitato errori concettuali, di presentazione e grammaticali. Team standard abbastanza funzionale, poco originale (tre OU della top8 e tutti con set poco originali) ma in generale ben presentato, segue pure un tema tutto suo.

Inizio dicendo di essere contento di non vedere il solito weather standard, ma concludo dicendo che è stato troppo poco ragionato come team, probabilmente fatto di fretta senza avere prestato il dovuto impegno.

Come tu hai descritto nella Threat List sono molti i Pokémon a crearti problemi e questo è il principale motivo che può portarti alla sconfitta.

Mi è saltato all'occhio il punto in cui dici che a volte per battere Nite devi sacrificare un Pokémon, si deve buildare alla semi-perfezione proprio per evitare queste situazioni.

Per quanto riguarda l'originalità è da premiare il fatto di avere voluto evitare i weather, ma i set dei pokè sono tutti molto standard, giusto celebi è un pò più diverso, ma dubito della sua funzionalità: non puoi dare ad un membro principalmente difensivo la Life Orb, è contro producente.

Da lodare il fatto che hai cercato (non sempre riuscendoci) di counterare le maggiori threat.

Presentazione non troppo elaborata ma scorrevole.

Strategia interssante, ma non mi convince molto. Ok, non ci sono nella threat list, ma i lati@s come li affronta? Inoltre è molto Heatran dipendente. Sul campo mi sembra renda meno di quanto ipotizzato. Nel complesso ritengo abbia impiegato Pokémon abbastanza usati e set piuttosto standard. Ho notato diversi errori nella presentazione: ad esempio nella tl di Scizor cita Celebi con HP fire che non ha e sono sbagliate le ev di Latias.
